Herc Rentals Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales and Operations Coordinator in Portland, OR. This role acts as the first point of contact at a Herc Rentals branch, handling customer inquiries and coordinating delivery and pickup of equipment while supporting branch operations.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-focused, and eager to learn, with 2–4 years of relatable experience and a valid driver’s license. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of relatable experience.
• Fluent in Rental Man and On the Go use.
• Proficient in DOT Regulations and load securement guidelines.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Proactively answer and resolve customer questions.
• Schedule delivery and pickup of equipment and partner with drivers.
• Optimize routing of drivers as a DOT Regulations expert.
• Aid and support the other coordinators at the branch.
• Be a trusted partner to the territory sales representatives.
• Manage a portfolio of customers.
• Maximize revenue through superior customer service on orders.
• Finalize sales for inbound and outbound calls.
• Provide customers with expert advice on equipment selection, operation and maintenance.
• Generate, process, analyze and review daily business reports.
• Support all team members.
• Build fluency with Fleet, Procurement, and daily dashboards and branch manager checklists.
• Act as local expert on Optimus and pricing practices.
• Assist others with Salesforce.com.
• Continue to open accounts and prescreen customers using eApply.
