Job summary

bp, through Archaea Energy, is seeking a Manager of Sales to build and guide relationships with internal and external teams, customers, and partners. The role focuses on representing the value proposition, understanding customer challenges, and aligning solutions with business needs.

The position requires 3–5 years of business development in industrial products, experience with OEM equipment, and a willingness to travel up to 50%. A bachelor's degree in business is required, with MBA as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA would be a plus)
• 3–5 years of proven business development experience in industrial products
• Experience handling OEM equipment and manufacturing environments
• Ability to develop proposal presentations and present at conferences
• Effective working independently and in teams
• Ability to uncover business challenges and craft custom solutions
• Willing to travel 25–50%
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required

Responsibilities

• Present the company's value proposition to customers and partners
• Understand customer business challenges at a high level
• Match solutions to customer requirements
• Build long-term relationships and act as trusted advisor
• Collaborate with Business Development to build market intelligence
• Identify future projects from RFQ to delivery
• Submit and maintain Salesforce reports
• Attend pre-proposal conferences and events
• Develop and maintain a diverse customer base
• Plan daily customer interactions with forecasts
