Position Purpose:

The Senior Sales Manager will support the sales efforts for Loews Hotels. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Promote awareness to corporate and incentive markets via travel to respective regions in the country, providing presentations and personal sales calls. Maintain communication with the NSO network and other Loews hotels to achieve revenue goals. Negotiate contract specifics to maximize profitability while satisfying customer needs. Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.

Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Deliver revenue expectations in line with hotel budget
  • Achieve annual goals as designated by DOS
  • Maintain efficient processing of paperwork, files, and reports
  • Develop strong relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports as requested
  • Respond promptly to requests by DOS/M and/or DOM
  • Actively prospect new business and secure repeat events
  • Conduct site visits and entertain clients
  • Attend networking functions and trade shows
  • Develop and maintain an account base to meet revenue goals
  • Implement a sales action plan for designated market segments
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and correspondence
  • Execute sales calls and trips as designated
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize profitability
  • Stay informed of local and national hotel competition and strategies
  • Promote and sell to assigned markets
  • Participate in sales activities like property tours, FAM trips, trade shows
  • Develop and foster business through proactive sales
  • Build relationships within the community
  • Identify potential customers and develop sales strategies
  • Adhere to Loews Hotels booking guidelines
  • Support and promote corporate programs to increase customer awareness
  • Represent the brand professionally and reflect company values
  • *Assist with training and onboarding of new Sales Managers
  • *Provide guidance to team members as needed
