Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - Majors to lead and grow the sales engineering team across the US Northeast, reporting to the Director, Sales Engineering.

You will recruit, mentor, and develop the group, refine core sales engineering processes (discovery, qualification, PoC), and partner with sales, product management, and engineering to design value-based solutions and close strategic deals for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven Consultative AI Advisor experience guiding customers through AI change management.
• Experience leading a sales engineering team and mentoring talent.
• Technical cybersecurity and networking expertise.
• Ability to communicate value-based selling in a matrixed GTM environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and develop the sales engineering team.
• Refine and scale core sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and PoC.
• Partner with sales leadership and clients to design and present business solutions that drive revenue growth.
• Work within a matrixed environment to promote and support the Zscaler portfolio through value-based selling.
