Job summary

evolo is seeking a senior Utilities Energy Storage Sales Engineer to win and grow strategic utility and developer accounts on the East or West Coast. You will be the technical voice, scoping solutions, defending designs, and driving deals from first conversation to close and handover.

This role requires credibility in performance, integration, and bankability, with the ability to translate technical detail into commercial value during complex evaluations and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales engineering or pre-sales with strategic customers.
• Technical background in electrical, power systems or energy engineering.
• Strong experience in renewable energy (storage, solar, wind or generation).
• Track record of supporting large, structured deals through technical due diligence to close.

Responsibilities

• Own technical relationships with utility, developer and IPP customers.
• Scope and size BESS solutions to customer requirements (capacity, duration, use case, site constraints).
• Lead technical content in tenders, RFPs and proposals; support contract negotiations.
• Run technical deep-dives, design reviews and due diligence with customers.
