Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
- Experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or account management in automotive/manufacturing
- Strong understanding of passenger vehicle systems or related tech
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel for customers and business development
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Serve as the primary technical contact throughout the sales process
- Understand customer requirements and recommend products and solutions
- Identify new business opportunities within the passenger vehicle market
- Prepare quotations, proposals and technical presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales objectives and revenue targets
- Provide technical expertise during product evaluations and discussions
- Assist customers with product selection and implementation
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to address needs
- Manage customer projects from opportunity through production launch
- Monitor timelines, deliverables and customer expectations
- Communicate project status and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor industry trends and gather customer feedback for product improvements
- Represent the company at meetings, trade shows and events
