Job summary

Mastercard Identity is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer Specialist to support Sales in North America. You will translate complex data science and ML concepts into practical product value, act as the SME for Mastercard Identity, and guide prospects through technical evaluations and proof-of-value tests.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and engineering teams to tailor solutions, train customers, and present at conferences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience in leading discovery to qualify customer needs and determine viable solutions of value.
• Solid understanding of data science concepts and machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of API-delivered services and web architecture.
• Experience with Python programming and SQL.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with business leadership, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and marketers alike.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to win deals and drive sales in the North America market.
• Ensure an exceptional experience throughout the pre-sales process.
• Be the subject matter expert in Mastercard Identity products and solutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of underlying technologies, data processing, and web architecture.
• Explain data features and probability-based decisioning to provide value for customer use cases.
• Position products to meet customer business needs and workflows.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and customers.
• Create documentation for prospects, customers, and internal use.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Support product roadmap with customer feedback.
