Job summary

Mastercard Identity seeks a Senior Sales Engineer Specialist in North America to translate complex data science and API capabilities into customer value. You will partner with sales, product, and technical teams to demonstrate solutions and drive proofs of value.

You will lead discovery, articulate technical benefits, and build trusted advisor relationships with executives and engineers while contributing to product feedback and customer enablement. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience leading discovery to qualify customer needs and determine viable solutions of value.
• Solid understanding of data science concepts and machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of API-delivered services and web architecture.
• Experience with Python programming and SQL.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to work with leadership, product, data science, engineers, and marketing teams.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to win deals and drive deals to closure in North America.
• Ensure an exceptional pre-sales experience for prospects.
• Be the subject matter expert for Mastercard Identity products and solutions.
• Demonstrate technical capabilities and underlying architecture to customers.
• Explain data features and probability-based decisioning and its business value.
• Produce customer-facing and internal documentation and guidance.
• Build trusted relationships and act as a strategic advisor to customers.
