Precisely in the United States is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer for IBM Mainframe Software. This role is 100% remote anywhere in the US with 20%+ travel.

You will provide presales support to the AMER sales team, deliver technical presentations, and architect solutions using MFX, ZPSaver, and DTS Solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of presales experience, 5+ years with IBM Mainframe (Z/OS), and a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical presales for enterprise software.
• 5+ years IBM Mainframe (Z/OS) experience.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales support to AMER sales team with technical demos.
• Deliver customized product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POC) on prospects' systems.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Development for product direction.
• Provide presales support as a technical advisor to Channel Partners and enable them to sell.
• Understand customer problems and demonstrate Precisely solutions to solve them.
• Stay current on competitive analyses and differentiators between Precisely and competitors.
• Participate in partner meetings as part of the partner business planning process & QBRs.
