Job summary

Sardine is seeking a Sales Engineer for our remote-first team. You will lead customized product demonstrations, translate customer needs into scalable solutions, and collaborate with security and product teams to drive revenue with enterprise clients.

This role requires 7+ years in Sales Engineering, experience in risk/fraud/compliance, and familiarity with API-based products, JSON, and coding in Python/JavaScript/Java/Ruby. Remote-friendly with global clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar roles supporting a variety of customers.
• Prior experience within the Risk, Fraud, or Compliance domain.
• Proven success working with large financial institutions, banks or global enterprises.
• Experience with API-based products, understanding of JSON, ability to read and understand code.
• Familiarity with one or more languages: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or Java.
• Bonus points for knowledge of web development principles or building internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers in identifying customer fraud and compliance needs.
• Prepare and deliver customized demos showcasing Sardine’s platform.
• Interface with Security teams to articulate our security posture.
• Create comprehensive Solution Designs addressing prospect needs.
• Collaborate with peers to improve Sales Engineering processes.
• Work with Product and Engineering to identify improvements and design solutions.
