Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity's data security and management platform across on‑prem, edge, and cloud. This role emphasizes technical execution, collaboration, and growing ownership of account‑level strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pre‑sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting for enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
• Strong understanding of data security concepts including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Articulate Cohesity's data cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Lead technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback and drive product improvements.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas, shaping proofs of concept that highlight Cohesity's value in cyber resilience and data security.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity effectively.
• Support account executives to drive opportunities and enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into production environments.
