Job summary

EDB is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to drive growth in the APJ region with a remote-first approach for Taiwan and beyond. You will engage customers and partners with deep technical expertise to accelerate the adoption of EDB Postgres across transactional, analytical, and AI workloads.

You will lead proofs-of-concept, coordinate with services teams, and provide guidance to sales and customers on product usage, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct customer-facing experience in sales motions.
• Ability to deliver technical product presentations to CXOs.
• Ability to demonstrate technical products and their features.
• Ability to conduct product proofs-of-concepts from requirements to success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and transform APJ sales to achieve business objectives.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and partners with technical expertise.
• Provide SME guidance to ensure sales hit targets.
• Work with Professional Services to build deployment statements of work.
• Assist clients and partners to build training and enablement plans.
• Provide product management and engineering guidance on product usage and performance in APJ.
