Job summary

Ultimation Industries, an MCE Company, in Roseville, MI, is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead business development and sales for Daifuku/Jervis Webb overhead and chain conveyor systems across automotive and industrial markets. The role requires building relationships with OEMs and integrators, developing proposals, and driving opportunities from inquiry to purchase order.

You will work closely with engineering to craft technically sound, commercially competitive solutions and manage the sales

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial sales experience in conveyor systems or related fields.
• Ability to read layouts, drawings, specifications, and technical scope documents.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Commercial discipline: pipeline management, CRM usage, forecast accuracy, and quote-to-close follow-through.
• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% depending on customer and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities for overhead conveyor systems across automotive, industrial manufacturing, warehousing, and material handling markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, system integrators, and industrial manufacturers.
• Develop and execute sales plans for product applications across target accounts.
• Lead customer meetings, site visits, and technical and commercial discussions throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with Engineering to develop concepts, proposals, and scope documents.
