Job summary

Ultimation Industries, an MCE company headquartered in Roseville, MI, seeks a technically driven Sales Engineer to lead business development for Daifuku/Jervis Webb overhead and chain conveyor systems. You will identify opportunities, build OEM and integrator relationships, develop proposals, and drive opportunities from first contact to purchase order.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial sales, a strong conveyor background, and the ability to manage a pipeline with CRM discipline, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial sales experience in conveyor systems or related field.
• Ability to read layouts, drawings, specifications, and technical scope documents.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Commercial discipline—pipeline management, CRM usage, forecast accuracy, and quote-to-close.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% depending on customer and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities for overhead conveyor systems across automotive, industrial manufacturing, warehousing, and material handling markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, system integrators, and industrial manufacturers.
• Develop and execute sales plans for product applications across target accounts.
• Lead customer meetings, site visits, and technical and commercial discussions throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate scope and pricing, and drive opportunities from inquiry to purchase order.
• Maintain pipeline forecasts and CRM discipline in HubSpot.
