Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead conveyor and sortation application engineering and projects in Aftermarket Engineering.

You will own mechanical design from sales handoff through commissioning, develop ROM and firm cost estimates, and interface with controls, electrical, software, and field teams. Travel up to 20% and mentoring of engineers are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in material handling with at least 3 years in conveyor and sortation applications.
• Experience executing material handling projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead concept development for retrofits, upgrades, and expansions from concept to execution.
• Evaluate installed equipment and recommend reuse, refurbishment, or replacement with engineering analysis.
• Perform throughput and rate analysis, belt pull, and drive sizing calculations.
• Create or direct drawings and BOMs using AutoCAD; coordinate vendor quotes for materials/services.
• Travel up to 20% for site surveys, commissioning, and client meetings.
