Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Engineer with an application engineering/ programming background in BAS controls to aid System Integrators and End-User customers. You’ll manage your commitments with field teams, travel as needed, and work remotely from home.

You will be the product SME for the Sales Team, lead new product introductions, host technical sessions, onboard customers, and collaborate with engineering to communicate capabilities and limitations of our technology.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Tridium Niagara Framework with practical automation projects.
• Solid HVAC system understanding and ability to write control logic.
• Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus or LonWorks protocols and IP networking.
• Experience with IoT integrations and container-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product SME for Sales Team across different support activities.
• Lead new product introductions and technical sessions for customers.
• Host tech-focused sessions, webinars, and lunch-and-learns.
• Support onboarding of new customers and partners.
• Attend industry trade shows and represent product capabilities.
• Provide supplementary product training and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on capabilities and limitations.
