Job summary

Artemis is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our enterprise pre-sales team in the United States. You will partner with Account Executives to win complex deals by delivering tailored demonstrations, performing deep technical discovery, and architecting proofs-of-value across security architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architects, or similar pre-sales technical role in B2B cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deep dives, tailored demos, and solution walkthroughs for enterprise security teams.
• Run structured technical discovery to understand customer security posture, existing tooling (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, identity), and integration needs.
• Design and validate customer-specific solutions that meet technical, security, compliance, and business requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical owner in pre-sales, partnering closely with Account Executives on deal strategy.
• Answer complex questions around product architecture, detection logic, scalability, data handling, and deployment.
• Support pilots, POVs, and technical validation efforts in customer environments.
• Address technical objections and advise on best-practice deployment, rollout, and detection tuning strategies.
• Lead responses to security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor risk reviews (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA where relevant).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security Research, RevOps, and customer teams to unblock deals and share field insights.
• Ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales to post-sales and contribute to pre-sales playbooks, demos, and technical messaging.
