Job description

Senior Sales Director - Utilities Business Development Manager

Infosys is hiring a Senior Sales Director to focus on hunting and implementing proactive New Business Development activities for our Utilities Practice.

The Senior Sales Director will grow net new business and a strategic new enterprise account pipeline. Requires understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams. A good Sales Hunter is keen to actively develop value propositions based on a firm understanding of opportunity areas at these Utilities firms.

Description:

  • Responsible for identifying and closing new deals in the Utilities domain.
  • Be the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisor.
  • Leverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals, and service lines to develop solutions that address clients' business problems.
  • Drive the development of platform solutions tailored for professional services and publishing or media enterprises.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field can substitute each year of education.
  • 9+ years of experience with strong sales background in the service industry.
  • Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and experience with large deals.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant new business development experience selling IT services.
  • Proven ability to interact and build relationships with CXOs of leading organizations.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

The estimated compensation range is $120,000 to $230,000.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in software contract negotiations.
  • Experience with competitor mapping and SWOT analysis.
  • Ability to define innovative solutions within abstract environments.
  • Well-networked within the IT services industry; experience in professional services sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to identify upcoming RFPs/deals through networking with key client partners.
