Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Compensation Analyst in Princeton, NJ to own end-to-end compensation programs. You will manage calculations, quotas, crediting, and reporting, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Operations.

The role requires 5+ years in finance or sales operations, expert Excel and Power BI, and SFDC experience. You will drive process improvements, deliver accurate payouts on deadlines, and provide management reporting on program performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance, sales compensation, sales operations, or financial analysis.
• Deep understanding of sales compensation principles including quotas, crediting, and commissions.
• Advanced Excel skills with Power Query, data modeling, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operational execution of sales compensation programs.
• Calculate commissions, bonuses, and other incentive payouts accurately and on time.
• Administer and track quota and crediting processes.
• Map transactions to the appropriate sales representatives.
• Maintain compensation data and track performance using SFDC and Power BI.
• Forecast sales compensation expenses, accruals, and payouts.
• Provide variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Review commission calculations and payout processes for accuracy and controls.
• Analyze sales results, attainment distributions, and payout patterns to identify trends.
• Drive process improvements and standardization in sales compensation operations.
• Prepare reporting and presentations for management on compensation performance and program effectiveness.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance leadership.
