Reporting to the Director of Compensation, the Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for commission calculations, compensation reporting, incentive plan administration, and data analysis. This role offers strong visibility across Sales, Finance, and Compensation leadership, along with excellent long-term career growth opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Calculate and process sales commissions, ensuring timely and accurate payouts
- Administer sales compensation plans and maintain compensation data integrity
- Analyze sales performance, quotas, and territory alignment to support incentive plan effectiveness
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for sales leadership and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor compensation metrics and outcomes
- Investigate and resolve commission-related questions and discrepancies
- Support administration and optimization of compensation management systems
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Compensation teams to ensure reporting accuracy and seamless data flow
- Conduct compensation modeling and scenario analysis during annual planning cycles
- Identify opportunities to improve sales compensation processes, reporting, and system capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in Compensation, Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Sales Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting commission or incentive compensation programs
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with incentive compensation software such as Xactly
- Exposure to compensation modeling, sales analytics, or sales operations
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools
