Job summary

Skin Laundry is seeking a dynamic part-time Clinic Supervisor at our Newbury Street location in Boston. You will lead by example, deliver authentic client service, and help the clinic meet sales and service targets while supporting the team.

The role requires retail experience, leadership potential, and the ability to work weekends and multiple shifts. You will coordinate scheduling, nurture client relationships, and promote curated facials and Skin Laundry products.

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational individual to support the clinic team to ensure the efficient running of the Clinic. You will use your leadership and sales skills to lead by example and provide authentic, personalized client service to achieve sales and client service targets. This role is ideal for an ambitious self-starter with retail experience and an interest in leadership development and growth.

Schedule/Availability

• Must be available to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday with another weekday (Mon-Thur) available.
• Must be available to work Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.
• Must be available to work 16-29 hours during Clinic Operating Hours (as posted on website, subject to change). Shift lengths: 5 or 8 hours with a minimum 1 day per week; schedule may flex to more shifts. Schedule made 60 days in advance.
• Sunday may be required for occasional training or if clinic expands operating hours.

Ability to commute/cover other clinics

Reliably commute to home clinic location and periodically travel to other clinics to provide coverage as needed.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Retail environment; ability to walk short distances and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry inventory and move clinic equipment; up to 25 lbs.
• Regularly required to talk and listen to clients in person and on phone.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (phones, keyboards, computers, touch screen devices).
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Proven retail experience, preferably within skincare and/or aesthetics. Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service. Prior retail operations experience (cash reconciliation, opening/closing) is desirable. Previous supervisory experience with coaching/mentoring to achieve sales and service targets is desirable. Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events in a fast-paced environment. Experience with retail POS software; Zenoti experience is a plus.

Experience and Characteristics

• Two (2) years of experience in Skin Care/Aesthetics or customer service preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
