Pacific Life Insurance Company is seeking a Sales Analyst to join the Sales Intelligence Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. The role is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) and focuses on delivering actionable insights to sales partners and leadership.

You will build dashboards, collaborate with analytics professionals, and help advance distribution through data-driven decision making. Ideal candidates have a BS degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience and strong visualization skills.

Qualifications

• BS Degree with 4-6 years relevant experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• An understanding of financial services, preferably insurance.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, CRMA, etc.)
• Experience manipulating data in Excel.
• Metrics based storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Building dashboards and reports that promote appropriate insights and actions.
• Thinking strategically to bring out-of-the-box and innovative solutions to customer needs.
• Working closely with Sr. Analysts, Sales and Sales Leadership to intake requirements for reporting and measuring success of delivered assets (dashboards, reports, visualizations, etc.).
• Modeling compensation plan adjustments to align plans with the goals of the business.
• Intelligently deploying AI within reporting and analytics to help move distribution forward.
