Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Actuary (FSA) to join the Consumer Markets Division FP&A team. You will forecast, model, and strategize for life insurance and annuity solutions, collaborating with hedging, valuation, pricing, and investments teams.

This on-site role offers relocation support and a hybrid schedule, with work 4 days on-site and 1 day remote from offices in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha, NE; or Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; FSA designation with 6+ years of relevant insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of life and annuity products in Valuation, Modeling, Hedging, or Pricing.
• Analytical skills to interpret trends and assess downstream impacts.
• Familiarity with actuarial modeling platforms, data visualization tools, and forecasting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced driver analysis across multiple product lines.
• Develop predictive models and reporting tools for investment income and reserve attributions.
• Communicate financial impacts of capital market changes across US GAAP, statutory, and economic frameworks.
• Innovate forecasting methodologies and feedback loops to improve accuracy.
• Shape executive decisions through actionable insights and scenario modelling.
