Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Sales Analyst to join our Sales Intelligence Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. This role is hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote, and involves partnering with sales leaders to uncover opportunities and deliver insights.

You will build dashboards and reports, work with analysts and leadership to gather requirements, and help move the business forward with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, and CRMA expertise, plus Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS Degree with 4-6 years relevant experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Understanding of financial services, preferably insurance.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, CRMA, etc.).
• Experience manipulating data in Excel.
• Metrics based storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Building dashboards and reports that promote insights and actions.
• Thinking strategically to bring innovative solutions to customer needs.
• Working with Sr. Analysts, Sales and Sales Leadership to intake reporting requirements.
• Modeling compensation plan adjustments to align plans with business goals.
• Intelligently deploying AI within reporting and analytics to move distribution forward.
