Job summary

Pacific Life seeks a Sales Analyst to join the Sales Intelligence Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. The role is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) and focuses on building dashboards and insights for sales leadership.

You will partner across the team to translate needs into actionable analytics, modeling compensation adjustments and leveraging AI within reporting to drive distribution forward.

Qualifications

• BS Degree with 4-6 years relevant experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Understanding of financial services, preferably insurance.
• Experience building reports and dashboards in modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, CRMA, etc.).
• Experience manipulating data in Excel.
• Metrics based storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Building dashboards and reports that promote appropriate insights and actions.
• Thinking strategically to bring out-of-the-box and innovative solutions to customer needs.
• Working closely with Sr. Analysts, Sales and Sales Leadership to intake requirements for reporting and measuring success of delivered assets (dashboards, reports, visualizations, etc.).
• Modeling compensation plan adjustments to align plans with the goals of the business.
• Intelligently deploying AI within reporting and analytics to help move distribution forward.
