Job summary

Jackson James is seeking an experienced Senior Sage Intacct Consultant to lead end-to-end Sage Intacct implementations for diverse clients. You will analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, configure modules, and ensure successful deployment.

You will mentor junior consultants, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support pre-sales, and provide guidance to optimize financial operations and reporting across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Sage Intacct implementation consulting experience.
• Proven experience leading multiple full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations including discovery, design, configuration, testing, training, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Assess client requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Configure Sage Intacct modules (GL, AP, AR, Cash Mgmt, FA, Multi-Entity, Consolidations, Purchasing, Project Accounting, Revenue Management).
• Design and document functional specifications, workflows, and solution architectures.
• Manage data migration activities: mapping, validation, cleansing, and imports.
• Develop and execute test plans and UAT; ensure system validation.
• Deliver end-user and admin training and create documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, APIs, and third-party apps.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Advise clients on best practices and strategic enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and support delivery excellence.
• Participate in pre-sales, demos, and proposal development when needed.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Sage Intacct, a strong understanding of financial and accounting processes, and a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end ERP implementations.

As a senior consultant, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, manage implementations, and provide strategic guidance to improve financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct business process assessments and gather client requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Configure Sage Intacct modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Multi-Entity, Consolidations, Purchasing, Project Accounting, and Revenue Management.
• Design and document functional specifications, workflows, and solution architectures.
• Manage data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, cleansing, and import processes.
• Develop and execute test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system validation procedures.
• Deliver end-user and administrator training sessions and create supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of functional and system issues.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by recommending best practices and strategic enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and support project delivery excellence.
