Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant to join our growing ERP and accounting technology practice. This individual will be responsible for leading Sage Intacct implementations for clients across a variety of industries, ensuring successful deployments from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and financial systems, enjoys working directly with clients, and has experience implementing cloud ERP solutions. This role will partner with finance leaders, executives, and project teams to optimize business processes and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support full-cycle Sage Intacct implementations for new and existing clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business processes, reporting requirements, and operational needs.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into scalable Sage Intacct solutions.
• Configure Sage Intacct modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Purchasing, Order Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Multi-Entity.
• Facilitate solution design workshops, testing sessions, and client training programs.
• Assist with data migration, validation, and system reconciliation activities.
• Develop implementation documentation, process flows, training materials, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on integrations, custom reports, dashboards, and automation requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live readiness activities.
• Provide post-go-live support and identify opportunities for continued optimization.
• Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Sage Intacct implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end ERP or accounting software implementations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
• Experience configuring core Sage Intacct financial modules.
• Ability to gather business requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Experience conducting client-facing workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sage Intacct Implementation Certification.
• Previous experience working for a Sage Intacct VAR, consulting firm, or accounting technology partner.
• CPA designation or public accounting background.
• Experience with multi-entity organizations, consolidations, and dimensional reporting.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and third-party applications such as Avalara, Bill, Expensify, Salesforce, ADP, or payroll solutions.
• Experience implementing Sage Intacct Planning (SIP), Construction, Nonprofit, Healthcare, or Distribution modules.
