Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a Safety Trainer to develop, deliver, and manage comprehensive safety training programs across our operations. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and state regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

The role includes leading the Safety Mentor Program, coordinating audits, and designing proprietary safety curricula to raise North Carolina to the #1 safety state. Travel to company locations in NC, VA, and SC is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in safety training or related.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
• Experience delivering technical and hands-on safety training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and manage comprehensive safety training programs.
• Maintain training materials reflecting current regulations and company policies.
• Lead the Safety Mentor Program and certify mentors in coaching and hazard recognition.
• Collaborate with leadership to align safety expectations and training with operational needs.
