Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee environmental health and safety operations across active mission-critical construction projects. You will drive a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with general contractors, subcontractors, and site leadership to manage risks on large data center programs.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, a strong OSHA background, and CSP/CHST certifications as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, energy, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Experience conducting site audits, investigations, and contractor safety oversight.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic construction environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with safety reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction safety initiatives across active data center projects.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and site walkthroughs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and established safety procedures.
• Partner with general contractors, subcontractors, project managers, and site leadership to mitigate risks.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while driving corrective actions.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and contractor training programs.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, and construction work plans.
• Track safety metrics and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Support emergency response planning and incident management activities.
• Promote a culture of safety excellence throughout all phases of construction.
