ICON seeks a Senior Safety Partner to lead field and project-level safety across residential, commercial, and military construction. You will serve as a strategic advisor to project leadership, build robust APPs, and ensure regulatory compliance on MILCON and commercial programs.
You will autonomously shape safety culture, conduct inspections, lead investigations, and coordinate with HR for return-to-work. This role is based in Austin, TX with up to 50% travel.
ICON builds robotic systems that construct multi-story buildings. In March 2026 we commercially launched Titan , our next-generation multi-story robotic construction system, now available to external builders. We have raised $550M+ from Norwest, Bond, Tiger, Citi, and Bjarke Ingels Group and are currently executing a successful ~$X00M Series D round, with revenue growing 300% to three figures in 2026 on positive gross margins. Through ICON Prime, we hold $360M+ in government contracts across the Army, Air Force, DARPA, and NASA, including a $62.8M Army production contract for 3D-printed barracks at Fort Bliss . That growth means more active sites, more subcontractors, and more work on military installations, each with its own regulatory and access requirements.
ICON is looking for a Senior Safety Partner to ICON’s construction organization to lead field and project-level safety across a portfolio that spans residential, commercial, and military construction projects, including work conducted on military installations. This role requires an individual who can operate autonomously as a strategic advisor to project leadership, self-direct across complex project environments, and build safety programs that are both rigorous and practical. This role is accountable for establishing and maintaining Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) for both military construction (MILCON) and commercial programs, driving regulatory compliance, and embedding a proactive safety culture at every level of construction operations.
