STV seeks a Safety Manager to support our Transportation North group in the New York area. The Senior Safety Manager will partner with management to integrate health and safety into design and on-site activities, coordinating multiple projects and offices across the Northeast.

The role requires extensive field oversight, regulatory compliance, and proactive planning to optimize safety performance and project outcomes for client sites within the metro NY area.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Safety or a related field is required.
• Professional credentials such as CSP, CHST, CIH or NYC DOB Site Safety Manager are preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of safety and health experience in construction or related industries.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety program development and enforcement for the Transportation Northeast Operating Group.
• Coordinate safety resources, inspections, and site surveys across projects and offices.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulators to implement safety standards and plans.
• Prepare Health & Safety Plans and maintain safety logs and records.
