Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Safety Manager 2 to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects. This role oversees safety practices, leads incident investigations, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement across sites.

You will mentor Safety Manager 1 and Safety Engineers, coordinate with regional safety teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company programs across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience.
• Board of Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST or equivalent.
• 12 years of industry experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor

Responsibilities

• Enforce company safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects.
• Oversee, lead, direct, and enforce safety and work practices to identify and control hazards.
• Provide mentorship to Safety Manager 1 and Safety Engineers; lead safety training sessions.
• Coordinate with region Safety personnel and project managers to promote a culture of safety.
