Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the maintenance of safety programs and procedures to meet performance standards and all appropriate state and federal regulations.

The role involves directing safety activities on multiple jobsites, conducting training, inspections, and incident investigations to prevent recurrence, and ensuring compliance with client lockout/tagout programs and other safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 years of overall safety experience required.
• Minimum 5 years as a site safety manager.
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 highly preferred.
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and enforces our Mission First, People Always culture in daily actions.
• Plans and manages safety activities on multiple jobsites with minimal direction.
• Conducts health and safety training programs and maintains all records.
• Analyzes processes and facilities for hazards and implements controls.
• Maintains daily Safety Task Assignments with crews on the project.
