Luster National is seeking a Safety Manager to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs in Fresno, CA. You will enforce contractual safety requirements, verify field controls, and maintain defensible records across multiple concurrent contracts.

Responsibilities include reviewing site safety plans, auditing contractor performance, leading incident investigations, and coordinating safety planning with regulators and project teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in safety/engineering/construction field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of construction safety experience on large, complex heavy civil projects.
• Experience developing/reviewing site safety plans and hazard analyses.
• Experience conducting field safety audits and tracking corrective actions to closure.
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience leading safety staff on active construction sites.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and recordkeeping requirements.
• Experience with high-hazard construction activities (excavation, fall protection, crane and rigging, etc.).
• Proficiency with safety software and standard MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead program-level safety governance across concurrent contracts and develop enterprise safety procedures and audits.
• Review site-specific safety plans and hazard analyses for conformity with requirements.
• Audit contractor safety performance and verify controls on site.
• Drive corrective actions to closure and prevent recurrences.
• Oversee incident investigations and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Manage safety submittals, training tracking, and permit requirements.
• Review high‑hazard plans (shoring, falsework, lifts) before work proceeds.
• Coordinate safety planning across overlapping contracts and preconstruction meetings.
• Analyze leading/lagging indicators and report trends to program leadership.
• Coordinate with regulators during inspections and represent program responses.
