Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking a Safety Manager for a major construction project.

The role focuses on developing and auditing safety programs, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring regulatory and company policy compliance to safeguard staff, craft workers, subcontractors, and consultants. The position is based initially in Boise, ID or New York, with relocation as needed. You will lead safety investigations, KPI development, audits, and timely reporting to project

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety management.
• Knowledge of construction safety, Federal and OSHA standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, and communicate the Site‑Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) to project personnel, including subcontractors.
• Ensure safety protocols align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate daily with craft workers to promote ownership of the safety program.
