Southern California Edison is seeking a Principal Manager, Employee & Contractor Safety Northwest to lead a team that strengthens safety performance across employee and contractor operations. You will translate enterprise safety strategy into practical field execution by advancing standards, risk controls, organizational learning, and consistent safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
• Experience within electrical utility craft, safety, or compliance programs, activities, or systems.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develops field safety strategies to mitigate hazards and improve controls; plans drills and exercises to verify readiness.
• Creates, designs, evaluates, and communicates a clear field safety vision and strategy across employees and contractors.
• Develops, implements, and manages EH&S policies, procedures, and activities for a safe work environment.
• Defines corporate field safety objectives and leads programs aligning with organizational goals.
• Oversees delivery of field safety training for project teams, contractors, and personnel.
• Drives environmental change management to address safety issues proactively.
• Drives and monitors savings through EH&S sustainability initiatives and standardizes field procedures.
• Serves in an emergency response role as part of Incident Management Team; periodic on-call duties.
