Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Senior Drive School and Vehicle Training Specialist to shape Edison’s driver safety and fleet training programs.

You will deliver classroom and field training, develop curricula and assessments, and ensure compliance with safety protocols across T&D operations. This role involves collaboration with engineering, field supervision, and cross-functional teams, with up to 25% travel and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in electric utility line work, training and/or instructional design.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Preferred: Class A Commercial License.
• Relocation does not apply to this position.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates training such as new hire, new to role, refresher, just-in-time performance-based training.
• Develops and maintains training curriculum, materials and assessments for safety and operational skills.
• Administers classroom and field tests, and provides feedback on learning outcomes.
• Partners with stakeholders to align training with regulatory requirements and DOT/FMCSA standards.
• Manages training logistics across multiple locations and travel up to 25%.
