Job summary

EHSCareers is seeking a Safety Manager to lead health and safety programs for a major data center project in Monroe, LA. This role reports to regional leadership and collaborates with field teams to ensure rigorous safety standards and compliance across sites.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in EHS within construction, and certifications such as ASP/CSP are preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' EHS experience within construction environments.
• Experience supporting data center projects is highly desirable.
• ASP, CSP, or similar professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership and oversight for health and safety programmes.
• Support project teams in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments across multiple locations.
• Review incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop strong relationships with field personnel and operational leaders.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to employees at all levels.
• Champion a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
