Confidential, a leading American contractor, is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee health and safety programs for a major data center project in Monroe, LA. You will partner with field leadership, drive safety performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' EHS experience within construction environments.
• ASP, CSP or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership and oversight for health and safety programmes.
• Support project teams in achieving compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments across multiple locations.
• Review incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop strong relationships with field personnel and operational leaders.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to employees at all levels.
• Champion a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
