Granite Construction in Utah seeks a Safety & Health professional to support the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) and related regulations at an assigned location. The role involves collaborating with teams, regulators, clinics, and first responders to promote safe work practices and reduce hazards.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, leading safety meetings, developing job hazard analyses, and documenting corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health or related field is preferred or required with relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal safety regulations applicable to construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with team members, owner representatives, regulators, clinics to maintain effective relationships.
• Promote engagement in safety program and incident prevention efforts.
• Assist in implementing safety programs to meet strategic goals.
• Perform inspections, observations and audits to reduce incidents and protect employee health.
