Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, health, industrial hygiene/health, or relevant field; OR associate degree with two years’ electric utility field operations experience; OR high school diploma/GED with four years in related electric utility field operations experience.
• In addition to education: 4 years experience in S&H or electric utility operations.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, advise, and assist management and personnel to carry out safety and health programs and policies and procedures.
• Prepare, advise and deliver programs and materials for S&H meetings and conferences.
• Conduct observations of personnel and work practices to ensure safe procedures are followed.
• Advise and assist in S&H event analysis and serve as a resource to the event analysis committee.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Review contractor adherence to safety and health regulations at the location.
