Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in gas distribution, water distribution, substations, and utility construction preferred.
• Prepare & Review Site specific Safety Plans/Lift Plans.
• Ability to manage EHS effort for large projects with multiple subcontractors.
• Conduct and document routine jobsite safety inspections.
• Demonstrated competencies in excavation, rigging, confined spaces, scaffolding and fall protection.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction and 1910 general industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety ownership with field management across regions.
• Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly safety visits/inspections.
• Provide training and mentorship on Daily Job Briefings and paperwork.
• Develop and educate staff in safety philosophies and practices.
• Deploy oversight processes for safety inspection, training and reporting.
• Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction phases focusing on safe practices and required equipment.
