Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS professional to promote safety ownership on field management, conduct weekly and quarterly safety visits, and ensure OSHA compliance on utility construction projects.

You will lead development of safety plans, provide training and mentorship, review incident reports, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors to maintain safe work practices. OSHA 1926/1910 knowledge is essential; OSHA 500/510 preferred, and ability to oversee large

Qualificações

• Experience in gas/water distribution and utility construction preferred.
• Prepare & Review Site specific Safety Plans/Lift Plans.
• Ability to manage EHS for large projects with multiple subcontractors.
• Conduct and document routine jobsite safety inspections.
• Demonstrated competencies in excavation, rigging, confined spaces, scaffolding, and fall protection.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction and 1910 general industry standards.
• Experience in accident investigation techniques and root-cause analysis.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in underground damage prevention.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Familiarization with PSEG, Elizabethtown Gas, and New Jersey American Water preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety ownership with field management and area managers.
• Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly safety visits/inspections.
• Provide assistance and technical expertise in safety program implementation.
• Provide training and mentorship on Daily Job Brief meetings and paperwork.
• Deploy oversight processes to ensure safety inspection and reporting integrity.
• Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction phases focusing on safe work practices.
• Lead development of Activity Hazard Analyses and Daily Job Briefings.
• Track corrective actions and review incident reports; investigate OSHA recordables.
• Interface with customers and vendors on safety issues.
• Assist in other functions as needed by management.
