Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Analyst to develop and govern enterprise safety, environmental, hazardous materials and regulatory compliance programs across Retail Support Centers and cross-dock operations.

You will own administration, data integrity and analysis of the safety and incident reporting platform, translate complex regulations into practical programs, and deliver leadership-ready analytics and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, occupational health or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hazardous materials storage, transport or disposal.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, IMDG and EPA requirements.
• Experience with safety incident management systems and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for safety, environmental, hazmat and regulatory compliance programs.
• Manage hazardous materials transportation processes for domestic and international shipments.
• Support hazardous waste, used oil, universal waste, spill prevention and environmental reporting.
• Administer the enterprise safety and incident reporting platform.
• Develop safety analytics, dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and reporting are timely and accurate.
• Oversee hazardous chemical storage, handling and slotting standards with internal teams.
