Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Safety and Environmental Manager to lead the development and administration of programs ensuring compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations. You will identify risk conditions, evaluate injury extents, and analyze data to prevent accidents across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, active certifications, and 10+ years of relevant experience, with 10-15 years in leadership preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Services, Public Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and risk assessment.
  • Ability to produce reports and develop policies.
  • Familiarity with relevant systems and software.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and appraising risk conditions which could produce occupational injuries or illnesses.
  • Evaluating potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents and classifying particular workstations.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and accidents.
  • Investigating occupational accidents and analyzing their causes to prevent them.
  • Co-operating with employees’ council or labor union in the field of occupational health and safety.
  • Ensuring training for employees entering work areas of the organization.
