Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production or service operations.
• Experience with machinery safety (ISO 12100), functional safety (ISO 13849) and electrical safety (IEC 60204, NFPA 79).
• Knowledge of EU directives and ISO/IEC/ANSI safety standards across multiple domains.
• Experience leading safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, HAZOP) for complex robotics systems.
• Ability to integrate safety requirements into design processes with engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating safety across multiple sites and programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA G eneral Industry standards and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate safety requirements for innovation and manufacturing based on standards.
• Develop and drive safety and compliance roadmap for R&D and production systems.
• Lead safety efforts across internal teams and external partners while balancing safety, cost, and maintainability.
• Investigate incidents and propose concrete mitigation measures.
• Develop risk analysis approaches for robotics and automated systems.
• Foster a safety culture to support safe and compliant products and systems.
• Identify process gaps to raise safety standards and consistency.
• Support safety engineering programs with industry partnerships.
• Apply project management to coordinate resources and risks.
