Job summary

Target Corp in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Engineer of Safety to own safety compliance across new and existing equipment and facilities. You will partner with design and operations teams to integrate safety systems, lead risk assessments, and guide go-live safety programs from design to activation.

A BS in engineering or safety, CSP certification, and strong communication are required; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, safety, or equivalent experience.
Direct or indirect proven Safety leadership.
Certification in Safety (CSP) or related professional certification/s.
Ability to influence and direct partners and leadership.
Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent relationship building and collaboration.
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
Proven knowledge and use of Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

Own safety program as a project owner across new and existing equipment and facilities.
Lead risk assessment processes (RAP) and review equipment designs for compliance.
Develop and deploy safety standards and training with HQ partners.
Lead go-live projects from design to activation and ensure safety integration.
