Job summary

U.S. Engineering Construction seeks a Safety Director – AIMS to partner with corporate leaders and drive the implementation of company-wide safety programs across the division.

You will lead governance, incident management, audits, and training to elevate safety performance and compliance on multiple projects. Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of construction safety leadership, CSP/CHST preferred, and a track record of building a proactive safety culture in regional or multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of safety experience in construction, industrial, or mechanical systems.
• 5 years of regional or multi-site leadership experience is a plus.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership, strategy, and governance for safety across the AIMS division.
• Drive compliance with safety standards, incident management, audits, and corrective actions.
• Partner with project leaders to implement site safety plans and training.
• Investigate incidents, root causes, and communicate learnings to management.
• Manage safety staffing, budgets, and program improvements across locations.
