POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include providing support to the Safety/Compliance and Onboarding Departments in the pre-screening and hiring process of CDL (Commercial Driver License) drivers. In this role, the Senior Safety Coordinator- Driver Onboarding, will review and assess the compatibility of driver applicants with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and the hiring criteria of Venture Transport. This position will have the sole discretion on approval or non-approval of driver applicants. The Senior Coordinator will work closely with the Compliance Manager and participate in monthly meetings to discuss CSA and safety matters.
