Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Consultant/Subject Matter Expert for the West Coast region.

You will report to one of our NorCal, SoCal, Denver or Seattle offices and bring a strong safety service background to develop and implement health and safety programs while managing client relationships. You will lead hazard identification, risk evaluation, OSHA compliance activities, and safety management system design, with opportunities to grow the client portfolio and

Qualifications

• CSP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science or engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing environments across targeted industries.
• Experience organizing and conducting OSHA health-safety audits.
• Experience in developing and delivering OSHA compliance programs.
• Experience in safety management systems ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement written health and safety programs (e.g., hazard communication, lockout tagout, confined space, fall protection, PPE, electrical safety, hot work, machine guarding).
• Develop, deliver, and support safety training programs.
• Hazard identification and risk evaluation.
• Health and safety compliance audits to evaluate applicability and conformance with applicable state requirements.
• Health and safety management system design, development and implementation to standards such as ISO 45001, ANSI Z10.
• Perform project management, mentoring, oversight and coordination.
• Develop client relationships, management and growth.
• Prepare client deliverables.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
